Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party to launch Sanatana Dharma protection wing

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan announced on Friday the formation of a new party wing, named Narasimha Varahi Brigade, dedicated to the protection of Sanatana Dharma in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
“I’m giving a statement on behalf of the Jana Sena Party, not NDA government. Several people have asked us to keep a youth wing, cultural wing etc, but before all that, taking the blessing of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, I want to announce that we will set up a wing for protection of Sanatana Dharma,” said Pawan Kalyan.
Pawan Kalyan highlighted the importance of respecting religious values, particularly when visiting Hindu temples and practicing Sanatana Dharma. He asserted that Sanatana Dharma is a guiding force not only for India but for the world.
“Some values should be upheld when visiting Hindu temples and practicing Sanatana Dharma. One should understand that the country will not remain the way it is without Sanatana Dharma, which is a guiding lamp not just for the country but for the world,” he added.
The JanaSena president emphasised on mutual respect for all religions but highlighted his commitment to defending Sanatana Dharma
“While we respect churches and mosques, we will also ensure that any act that hurts Hindu sentiments will have consequences. Any posts on social media that mock Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma will not be tolerated, he said.
Kalyan also noted that the Narasimha Varahi group would comprise JSP members, known as Jana Senani, committed to the cause of Sanatana Dharma.
This new wing, he said, will represent a cultural and protective step towards preserving Hindu values in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
